I admire his consistency and his views on the Constitution, and his views on what government should actually be, but I am not comfortable with the racial mess.

His newsletters in the past (80s and 90s) were extremely racist and homophobic. Paul has publicly taken responsibility for allowing them to be published, but says he did not write the articles in question. All well and good, but one thing he won't do is explain clearly and specifically who did and how/why he was associated with Ron Paul and whether that person or persons still is.

Based on my research, that person or persons still is associated with Ron Paul, and that's what bothers me. I think that if his campaign got truly serious, the other candidates would be able to rip him to shreds by exposing a lot of stuff that Paul chooses not to expose himself. This bothers me.

In the end, I have to vote my conscience, not who I think has the best chance of getting elected (Democrat or Republican). That means voting Libertarian. Even if some people see it as wasting my vote, I feel it is better to vote my conscience than it is to not vote at all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7849295687305547598.post-31586189061896001552008-01-29T22:26:00.000-07:002008-01-29T22:26:00.000-07:00Future Farmer,AMENFuture Farmer,

AMENBigBearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11552206865163220761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7849295687305547598.post-63596682530251802132008-01-29T21:44:00.000-07:002008-01-29T21:44:00.000-07:00Old Butch,John the farmer was in the fertilized eg...Old Butch,

John the farmer was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens), called 'pullets', and ten roosters, whose job it was to fertilize the eggs.

The farmer kept records and any rooster that didn't perform went into the soup pot and was replaced. That took an awful lot of his time, so he bought a set of tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone so John could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing. Now he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report simply by listening to the bells.

The farmer's favorite rooster was old Butch, a very fine specimen he was, too. But on this particular morning John noticed old Butch's bell hadn't rung at all! John went to investigate. The other roosters were chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing. The pullets, hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover.

But to Farmer John's amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one. John was so proud of old Butch, he entered him in the Renfrew County Fair and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result...The judges not only awarded old Butch the No Bell Piece Prize but they also awarded him the Pulletsurprise as well.

Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making: who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention.

Vote carefully...the bells are not always audible.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7849295687305547598.post-70541945085813594772008-01-29T21:25:00.000-07:002008-01-29T21:25:00.000-07:00The number is their age. My only fear is that he would get lost on the way to the dealership. I loved McCain but I really think he has lost it.

I can't vote for any Republican because they gave us Bush II. Personally I feel that out of shame all Republicans who voted for him should sit out this election and think about what they did.

In other words they need some quiet time to think about how absolutely fucked up the country is because of the Bush administrations policies.BigBearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11552206865163220761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7849295687305547598.post-69254069833017845362008-01-29T21:02:00.000-07:002008-01-29T21:02:00.000-07:00By each name you put a number between 46-72. Also not Edwards but calling him a candidate at this stage is questionable.

I am not sure if I would rather have McCain or Romney. I will not vote for a democrat because I am against socialism and gun regulation.

I can honestly say the only candidate I would buy a used car from is John McCain...for whatever that is worth.Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09612373437033635765noreply@blogger.com
