If a flu virus becomes pandemic short of removing yourself from society you will be exposed regardless of how much handwashing you do or where your fingers go. If you have previous exposure to the particular virus or if you are lucky then you will not get sick. Otherwise you will no matter how many times you wash your hands.
As for worrying about Walmart or cameras don't be so stupid. No one cares if you buy at Walmart or anywhere else. The government can't even keep track of their own employees never mind 300 million shoppers. You need to get control of you pschyo-paranoid self and stop worrying about the useless crap that you seem to be hung up on. Some people have anti-Walmart fears; I get it. Some people fear all kinds of things. Get past it. Walmart isn't out to kill you. Whether you like it or not Walmart saves their customers about two thousand bucks a year over buying at other stores. If you don't like Walmart then don't go there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7849295687305547598.post-86772227322247273042008-03-13T07:31:00.000-06:002008-03-13T07:31:00.000-06:00Based on the Spanish Influenza outbreak of 1918-19...Based on the Spanish Influenza outbreak of 1918-1919, 3 to 6 months would be a safe estimate, with the occasional trip out.
Honestly, it depends on many factors, such as incubation time (long or short), contagiousness (high or low), lethality (high or low), and transmission vector (how it spreads).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7849295687305547598.post-33789477168490051442008-03-11T16:50:00.000-06:002008-03-11T16:50:00.000-06:00How long should u be able to wait it out at home t...How long should u be able to wait it out at home to avoid a pandemic? No matter how well you wash and/or sterilize your hands, NEVER, under any circumstances PUT ANY OF YOUR FINGERS IN YOUR NOSE!!! This, more than any other prophylactic procedure I've ever done regarding the common cold, has helped to prevent illness. You may blow your nose into a tissue to your heart's content, but never stick a digit up either of your nostrils.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
